Dr Charles Chihumbiri is a Fellow of The Royal College of General Practitioners, and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
He has 30 years post-graduate experience, with 11 years in General Practice in Zimbabwe and 10 years in Australian General Practice.
Dr Chihumbiri has worked with the Northern Territory Rural Clinical School (a part of the Flinders University Medical School), in the rural placement program whilst working at Kintore Clinic NT and Katherine District Hospital.
He has worked as a Medical Educator with the Northern Territory General Practice Education Unit (NTGPE) and participated in training programs for Junior Medical Officers, GP Registrars and International Medical Graduates.
He has most recently worked at the Bega District Hospital in chronic and complex care.
Dr Chihumbiri enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interest in the elderly, and chronic & complex care.
